Hey guys,

I really need your opinion / help...
I am currently in Alberta working full time in IT (2282). I applied for OINP on July 16th and received AOR on Sept 21st (CEC - with ties to Ontario). Could someone please let me know if I have to move to Ontario anytime soon? If so, do i have to move ASAP or can i move once i get OINP?
I called OINP and they said that it might affect your pnp application and hence yr EE immigration since I have mentioned ties to Ontario and my work experience is in Alberta !
Is anyone there with OINP accessed against CEC who is NOT in Ontario?
Really need any sort of information you have on this.... please...

Having ties to Ontario does not matter. There are people who received nomination and have never been to Canada. I would suggest move once you get your nomination. Try finding jobs from now. Good luck

Which might affect your application? Your stay in AB while your application is in process or the fact that you mentioned ties in ON ?
I'm also here in AB and received PT last month. There are people getting nominations without any ties in ON or Canada.

Hi,

I have a question and need your opinion on it. I am currently temporary resident (Post Graduate Work Permit) of Quebec (Montreal) and got the PNP from Ontario and 600 points are added in my profile. I informed them during my application that I have intention to reside into Ontario. I am currently doing job in Montreal. I am living here with my wife and 2 kids. I have Quebec Driving License and Medicare Card.

My question is that when I will get ITA in few days and filling my application will I still show my Montreal address or I move to Ontario and use that address. How you see all this and any suggestion.

If you have any questions please ask me so I can clear the situation to you.

This is a tricky question. Will Ontario withdraw their support of your status if you do not move to Ontario? Ontario is far more liberal than other provinces regarding their reinforcement of 'intention to reside in Ontario', because they accept applications from people in other provinces. Will not residing in Ontario have any implications when one applies for citizenship status?

I don't think you would have to move immediately, but it would be advisable to show a lease agreement or job search or job offer in Ontario. Someone already here got rejected by OINP for lack of ties to Ontario.

THIS IS FOR ALL EE APPLICANTS WHO HAVE RECEIVED A PT FROM ONTARIO.

Please be advised that each one of you who has got a PT AND who have already/are going to submit a COMPLETE application package within the 45 day mark from the date of PT (Human Capital priorities Stream AND Fresh Speaking Workers Stream) WILL HAVE YOUR APPLICATIONS PROCESSED, NO MATTER HOW LONG THE DELAY IS..

All your applications will be processed. The only reason they will return your application is when you have sent in an incomplete application. THE APPLICATION WILL NOT BE RETURNED BECAUSE OF CAP.

The news from OINP office is that people who have submitted their applications before September 15, 2015 will have their applications processed this year. Applications submitted after that will be processed in 2016. Nonetheless, the applications will be processed.

Good luck to all and all the very best :) .

This information was provided by a few applicants who called OINP Immigration office. Did you say June!!! Its too late. Did you call them and ask about your application? I don't think they take this long !!
