Move to Canada with remote job

Hi All,

I want to move to Canada to live there permanently. I have checked the CIC website and found that Express Entry - Skilled worker program is the best for me.

I am currently working remotely for a US employer. I want to retain my remote job. Can my remote job assist my immigration situation (gain more points or support my profile by any mean)?

No - your remote job won't gain you any points. To get job offer points, the job must be located in Canada and supported by an LMIA.
