Move to another province holding an open work permit

Hi,

Hope somebody can answer for my simple question I couldn't find a specific answer so far.
By my husband's closed work permit I own an open work permit in Alberta (TFW). Unfortunately my husband lost his job after 3 months. Since I can not find any employment here we are considering to move another province but I am not sure if I can use my open work permit in any other province in Canada if my husband hasn't got a valid WP and LMO. There is no any restriction on my WP. I know we can continue stay here and he can look for another employer and LMO but it seems impossible after couple of wasted months while my prospect to find an employment in Ontario would be much better.

Your work permit is open so you can work in any province in Canada. (You may have difficulty in Quebec)
