Hi Friends

I need some advice in regards to visitor visa of my Mother to Canada.

I Came to Canada in 2006 on study visa and did course and then got work permit.
when my work permit expired i came on study permit again but studied in private college for one year (permit was for two years) I just stayed here.

Now I got Married to my Girl Friend in court who is Canadian Citizen (without her parents knowing)
My study permit (visa) is expiring on 31st July 2011. I am going to apply for Permanent Immigration from India.

But my question is that Is it Possible if I can invite my mother on our wedding party which we are planning to do in june?

Will there be any problem for visa (my mom just got retired from her job).

Whats percentage of visitor visa refusal?

Thanks for help.

Don't worry, ask your girl friend to invite your mother,it's easier. Do you have full time job? If yes, since when ?

Well, don't worry. There are few options, you can think of 1. your mother can also apply for tourist visa for short time, say one or two weeks. For this, she has to show two lakhs bank balance or if she has much more, better. 2. If you are clean and staying legally in that country without any problems then your mother can say that she is retired and going to see his son . 3. If your girl friend has a job then she can invite her. Is there any problem for you to ask her.
I know what you are going through.I have done all these. 8)
