Hi there, I have an interesting dilemma. My In-Laws are legally married but one decided to come to Canada to visit and wishes to extend her stay for another year or so, while the Dad who's in the Philippines now wishes to join her wife over here in Canada to again Visit.

My conclusion would be these are technically two different applications right? :)

Mum - Application to Extend Her Stay
Dad - Application for Visit Visa / Super Visa.

And does the same Sponsor apply on this case? (My Wife) - I'm sure she's interested in getting her Dad here to show how great Canada is.

Yes, these would be two different applications.

Your mother-in-law's application for authorized period of extended stay must be sent to CPC-Vegreville.
Your father-in-law's application for TRV/Super Visa will be processed by his home country.

Your wife must prove she meets LICO if he applies for a super visa
