Hello,

First of all: Moderators, please remove this post If my post is not relevant to this forum / section.

My mom is in Super visa and she arrived here on June 8th. Last week she got sick and we did blood checkup. The results came today and her white blood count is too high and physicians are suspecting CLL - Chronic lymphocytic leukemia. Now, we need to do more lab diagnosis tests to determine/confirm her condition.

I have taken proper travel medical insurance for her for 1 year; However, I am not sure whether it will cover all the costs that includes diagnosis. lab tests and drugs. Anyone has any idea / experience on this? I am not sure what to do and I am in kind of panic mood.

As you can understand how much it pains for a son when mom gets cancer. You input really matters and appeciated

Thank you,
Raj

You will need to talk to your health insurance provider.

I agree with the above. Unfortunately none of us can advise you. It all depends what the insurance policy you purchased for your mother does and does not cover. You need to speak to the company providing the insurance as soon as possible to find out - and to determine if there are any deductibles or maximums in the coverage you've purchased. Anything not covered by your insurer will have to be paid out of pocket.

Good luck.
