Mother in law's wrong spelled name on wife's old passport..any issue? On current passport name is correct.

Just wondering..why would you send a page with her mother's name? Of it is like the relationship page on Indian passports, then it may make sense to prove some relationships to people in Canada etc... but apart from that, not sure why they should see that page...unless you send it as an extra document..
In that case, why would you want to send an expired passport?

I don't see an issue ... maybe others can advise if I've missed out on something?

I really don't think it will matter, especially since it is rectified in the current (i.e. relevant) passport anyway. Just make a small note of it in the covering letter if you want to be on the safe side, but I think you are good to go.
