Hi all,

My boss applied LMO for me on Aug.8, as I don't know when my PR application will complete.

Today he got an email from Service Canada. They require my current work permit, as this will determine the assessment criteria.

Does anyone of you knows what does this mean?

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks a lot!

Hi, you have a working permit if you are working. you need to send the copy of working permit.

Just a guess, but there are different requirements for someone on a Temporary Work Permit vs. Post-graduate Work Permit. Uusally, an employer has to demonstrate efforts to recruit a Canadian (e.g advertising). But for an employer who's applying for an LMO for someone who is currently holding a PGWP, they do not have to demonstrate recruitment efforts. So HRSDC might want proof of what kind of work permit you currently have.
