More then one Misrepresentations

Hi , I am interested to know what could be results if there is More then one Misrepresentations on PR application?

Is it going to be two years banned ?Is it going to affect the sponsor too?

What do you mean? Have you misrepresented yourself on the application? Or are you planning on doing it?

I believe the rules have changed, and it's now a 5 year ban.

Correct. The ban is now 5 years. Whether the ban is applied or not depends on the type of misrepresentation.

Laila H - It should be easy for your to avoid misrepresentation since you haven't filed your application yet. Don't lie about anything and there won't be problems. Lie and you should expect issues that will impact the application.

If your lawyer is advising you to omit information that is specifically asked, you need a new lawyer.

Your lawyer asking you to hide information is not a good sign - my opinion

Get rid of your lawyer immediately. If you hide things, you should assume you will have problems - possibly very big problems. A good lawyer would tell you to hide nothing.
