More than 90 days after PP Sumitt ??????????

Crossed 90 days after PP Submission

Now some of the cases are crossing more than 90 days after PP Submission, which normally used to be Max limit.
Is there any pattern change in process now. What is the max time for this retention?

Seniors and other similiar case members, please comment.

i ve applied too in fsw in chc delhi.
my med was done on 28th oct 2010 and i am still waiting.
its 16th feb today and it far above than 90 days.
moreover as far as i know embassy was closed on christmas and new year holidays for 10-13 days.
and they count only working days that is from monday to friday.
rest god knows when dey gonna send the passports

Hi both members, I am wondering what they do with passports that long i mean they have to have to get visa approval to stamp visa in passports or just passports on que, its really strange what I think passport request is the last step before they passports request they do all formality and clearance am i Right? please suggest.

hi belize..
after passport submission only thing they do is security check.
and that from all the sources, say interpol, c.i.d and various other agencies.
if u have travel stamps on passport they check security clearence from that particular country too, thus increasing more time in stamping.
as i have no travel stamps on passport,they taking time even then.
thing is they put the bf'd date on file, they wont pick the file and process before that date.

Really they do security clearance after passport submission but i read on qorax forum he says they do security clearance before medical request or sometime after medical. Please other senior suggest.

before medical request we send them the pcc certificate.
they take it as a security clearence.
after the medicals, before stamping they have had their security checks from the sources.

Yes I also read out from Qorax post that security check should initiate following they receive the medical request and PPR request ensures that security chk might have done. However for some ND CHC MR and PPR comes as a package and for them security chk probably initiates after they receive medical results and passport in hand... (specially for fast track applicant) However variation is always there which is sometimes beyond our common understanding!! It is indeed really a pain to have to wait for the last hardle of the journey for unexpectedly long time..... We have all our best wishes and hope that you will receive back your passport soon

In my case i have travel history for two countries more than 6 months stay. But from Jhon case, this may not be reason for delay. So finally its wait wait wait for the GOOD DAY.

Waiting is the name of the game. And sometimes I feel this is for our own good. Starting new life in Canada requires patience, endurance and perseverance, especially for families and for ones who are used to good living standards like in UAE.

So, consider this waiting period as a training and self preparation towards your new life out there.

normally i have seen many people after getting visa saying " visa is not a big deal,,there is nothing in canada,,live in india,,its better,,blah blah blah"
mean they never help or suggest other aspirant.
hope we dont change,,,
this waiting period ll make us value it,be strong, be good citizen in canada and setting an example...
coz we ll be presenting our country there and need to maintain good reputation of our country and its people...

Good words johncool. I agree with you, however, reality check is different. Or people who've never been there, might have higher aspirations and dreams. Once they step in, face the challenges, they break. A friend of mine had his wife suffered serious psychological trauma while being in Canada. While on the other hand, another friend is living there happily ever after, as said in movies. So it depends and varies, case by case.
