More than 3 years of experience but a long gap in between

My first project got closed down and my period of work was 8 months. After that I have a 10 month gap before my next job. My current job gives me 2 yrs and 8 months. If i add up the two periods, its 3 years 4 months. Will this count as 3 or more years of experience? Or will IRCC not give me points for my previous job since there is a long gap in between? If my experience doesn't count as 3 years it will severely slash my CRS points

PS. I am searching for any official page that says that the work should be continuous, but haven't come across anything so far. Can someone share the link to such a statement from IRCC?

The requirement is a year of full-time skilled work experience (for FSW applicants), you can then add all other work experience even if there are gaps.
