BCGUY,

Are you suggesting that it would be better for me to re apply via PNP as opposed to my existing application right now?... Can you give me the process on how to do that, please.. As I have said on my first thread time is really important to me right now and I really want to go to Canada the soonest time possible... When I hired a lawyer I did not have so much information and thought that the easiest way to do my application is through hiring a professional (immigration lawyer). If I will go for the PNP or any other program to expedite my immigration to Canada, does it mean abandoning my existing application as FSW? I am really confused but very thankful to have heard from you immediately. For your added info, my legal status here in the US has expired and that adds to my worries... how does my present legal status in US affect any application to immigrate to Canada?

I really appreciate your inputs and would like to hear and learn how am I going to go about the PNP process. Do you know of any institutions or office that I can contact to process a PNP application. I have talked with one hiring manager in Ontario who is willing to offer a job to non-immigrants. I believe it is under the work permit category. Should I ask her if they are willing to petition me under PNP?. If I will go under PNP what will happen to my common law partner who is part of my original application. My intention is to immigrate with partner at the same time. I know I have raised a lot of questions and I would like to thank you in advance for your quick response.

Thank you again and hope to hear from you soon..

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
If you are taking a skill level 0, A or B job on a temporary work permit, you can bring your partner with you and apply for an open work permit for your partner. When you apply for PR through PNP, you can also include your partner on that application.

Ok Here goes,Your H-1 or H-3 visa will allow you to come in under the Alberta AINP Strategic Stream not needing a job offer as long as the occupation you have is under pressure in Alberta even WITHOUT a job offer, processing time about 6 months for nomination,or else if your employer is willing to sponsor you under PNP,You can go for that also. You dont have to give up your FSW if you are applying to the PNP,Since FSW is the Goverment of Canada and PNP are Provincial Goverments,2 different Govements who application can be parallel,Go to the different Provincial websites Dont forget Canada s provinces can make their own immigration laws and that varies from province to province
