Montreal CIC Office Processing Time

Currently, I'm waiting to receive my citizenship test date, however, need to leave the country for a while for business. I was wondering if anyone knows the approx. processing time between the arrival of the file to the local office and receiving the test date? :'(

We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on December 31, 2010.

We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called A Look at Canada on December 31, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

We started processing your application on October 24, 2011.

Your file was transferred to the Montréal CIC office on January 9, 2012. The Montréal CIC office will contact you if additional information is required. The Montréal CIC office will contact you regarding your citizenship test once all the necessary checks on your file are complete.[/quote]

Montreal CIC Office Processing Time - February 6th 2017 - Citizenship Test

Hi All,

I gave my Citizenship test on February 6th 2017, and since then my status has not changed online it still shows "In Process" I have my test at the Montreal Office. Did someone else have the test in Montreal in February and if yes what's your status. I wanted to travel and I heard it doesn't take this long after the test but now I am not sure why my status has not yet changed. I called CIC they just told me it's still in process keep checking your status online.
