Mom's Visa application.. error in name spelling

I am applying for my mom's visit visa and just realized that my mothers name in her passport has minor error.
her passport says DILJEET
and in my passport my mother's name is spelled as DILJIT.

I am not sure if this will be a problem. Should my Mom apply for a new passport or something else could be done?

You should be able to identify where the error is. Is it the one in your passport or her? You should change it accordingly. If your mum has sometimes spelt her name like that, then write a letter to explain (other names used).

If I were you, I will rather change the name before applying
