Hi everyone,

I just submitted my Schedule A and realised although filling out everything correctly (using the right application number etc) I have put down my partner's UCI rather than mine. Should I contact CIC and explain or leave it as is?

It was uploaded from my account, my name is everywhere on the form alongside our application number, so should I assume it would be alright?

I feel insanely silly for making such a careless mistake. haha

Send in a note via IRCC webform explaining the error. If you can attach (dont know if you can do attachments) a correct version.

As weegieInOttawa mentioned, you should send them an updated/correct Form and request them to consider this.

Thanks everyone. I truly don't think it is/could be much of an issue and whoever is looking at the application would realise and dismiss it/correct it accordingly and if they do have an issue, I suppose the worst that could happen is resend the form for me to put my UCI rather than my partner's.

However, if I am to send a note via the webform, I am unsure if our application is processed outside of Canada and therefore would have to play a guessing game. We applied Outland and live in London. I have not received any information if the application has been moved to London at all. Should I fill in the form stating that the application is being processed in Canada or outside Canada, namely in London? Any thoughts on that?

Simple mistake, doesn't affect anything, so I wouldn't bother doing anything.

Thanks - my thoughts exactly!

I just send a note with the corrected UCI, don't think it would make any difference but the two posters above worried me, hence I thought it's better to cover all bases.
