Hello,

In an entry-express application, I mentioned master instead of bachelor, but submitter the right documents (bachelor), with the right WES assessment ID. Even with a bachelor, I would have the score to be selected. I've sent an inquiry via "IRCC Webform" to disclosure the error and explained why it was confusing to me (the WES document showed bachelor, but in the list, there was no bachelor choice, they rather showed complicated elements I selected "Diplôme d'études universitaires de deuxième cycle OU diplôme professionnel de premier échelon.")

What would you expect as a result :
- Correct error, calculate admissibility with a bachelor degree,
- Reject application with no penalty as it's a mistake or
- Reject application and consider this a misrepresentation (5 years of non-eligibility) or
- Other..?

Thanks.

You application will fail r10 completeness check because of missing masters eca and might get rejected. It's not misrepresentation however.
As you already informed them abt the mistake, all you can do is wait.

"...and might get rejected."
Does it mean that there is even a small chance that the application might get approved?

Oups.
Well, because you are claiming points for Masters degree as declared in your Express Entry profile, agent reviewing your case will look for Masters degree, only to find a Bachelor degree with ECA. I hate to say that either you won't pass completeness check and be rejected straight away, OR will take into consideration your inquiry to raise the mistake and review your CRS points to see if you still meet the cutoff. There is indeed quite a difference in terms of points between bachelor and masters...

I say this because I saw your other post (https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/in-what-stage-am-i.596951/), and it seems you passed medicals and submitted biometrics already. Fact is, most categorical rejections happen right around medicals, and it seems your case is still going nevertheless... So either agent didn't notice, or took your inquiry into consideration, or simply assigned your case for further review to another office who will then decide.

Both first options are possible, but it really isn't as misrepresentation. Misrepresentation would be like providing false documents for a degree you never obtained...

Right now, it really depends on the agent's leniency. If you want to know exactly what he/she raised about your case, order GCMS notes.

Thanks for your answer, will wait and let you know what happened, but if they decide to take the inquiry into consideration (finger crossed) I believe I have the CRS point that meets the cutoff.
