I made a silly mistake in my PNP application.
When I submitted my PNP documents at IRCC portal with my nomination certificate, I used my old passport, which technically is valid on paper until Oct 2025. However, as I received a new passport at the end of 2023 from my home country, the old one became automatically invalid, & I wasn't aware of this information. My nomination certificate is valid until May 2025, so I am considering withdrawing my existing pnp application with IRCC asap & submit a new one with the same nomination certificate & all the other documents, along with the new passport (as I don't want IRCC to refuse my pr application or even give me a 5 - 10 years ban due to misrepresentation, when this was an honest mistake)
Could people share their thoughts on this?
Is withdrawing application & immediately submit a new one with same pnp nomination certificate okay?
Also, would I be required to pay the PR application feee again to IRCC or can I use the old receipt to submit new application?
