Hi
I would appreciate it if anyone can help me with this matter. I applied for a Canada student visa a few days ago. After applying, I noticed a spelling mistake in my name on my bank statement and account maintenance certificate. My actual name is "Abubakar SIddeeq" (same on passport and all other documents) but the name on my bank statement and account maintenance cert. is "Abubaker Siddeeq" (e instead of a). The bank which issued these document made a mistake in my account title.
What should I do now?? Is it a swear issue?? Or the visa office will just neglect it as the account maintenance certificate also have my CNIC (id card number) on it which is the same as on my other documents.
I have also contacted the bank and they have issued a letter stating the mistake from their side. The letter is attested by the bank manager and operational manager of that bank.
I am under tremendous stress right now. Please guide me.
