Hey everyone,
I'm currently in Canada on an IEC working holiday and have recently applied for Permanent Residence through CEC.
During my application, I stated that I had a job offer (through not wanting to lie, rather than wanting/needing the points). I answered the questions correctly, and said my employer is not listed on my current open permit and that I don't have an LMIA. I ultimately recieved no points as this job offer is invalid.
My question now, is will my application be rejected because of this? I recieved no benefit (points-wise) and if the job offer is removed it will have no impact on my score (I would have still recieved an ITA). Will CIC just remove this and ignore it considering it is not valid?
As a second question, would it be worthwhile to open a case specific enquiry asking them to remove this job offer as it's invalid and I recieved no points and therefore would like it to not negatively interfere with my application?
Little bit confused and desperate to not have this be rejected.
Thanks for any help and advice!
