Mississauga time of process

Hello !!!

I'm French, sponsored by my common law partner (who is canadian).

We just sent the application for approval of sponsor in Mississauga on the 29th of February.

How long will it take for my sponsor to have news from Mississauga, meaning a registration number whith which we can track on CIC our processs ? They say 60 days before approval, but from when ?

If everything is ok, they will send my application to Paris office. I've been told that Paris can be quite fast. Does anyone has a "Paris experience" office to tell me about ?

I'm going through Mississauga and they'll send you a letter in the mail that has your number on it to track through the CIC website. However, they received my paperwork in July of 2014, they started the sponsor paperwork in March of 2015 and we haven't heard anything from them..every case is a little different. Some people get approval and hear back from them in a few months, some like me are still just sitting here and waiting. It also depends on if you're inland or outland.

sounds like you're doing an outland sponsorship.

it's 60 days from the day they your file gets delivered to the mississauga office. so if your paperwork was delivered by March 1st, then expect sponsor approval around the first week of May, and file transfer to Paris about 10 days after that. the average for Paris seems to be four months, so yes it's a fast VO.
