Missing Passport- Need to Extend Study Permit ASAPP

I am international Student. I recently lost my passport in May, filed a police report and have applied for a new one. However the processing takes about 4 months. My study permit expires in 4 days ( 30th July 2015). I've been delaying with its submission because I was waiting to see if my passport will come before but now I have to go ahead and submit without my passport. What do I do, Please I need help. Thank you.

Do you have scanned copies of your passport you lost? If so, then you can apply online or by mail.
