Hi ! My husband and I applied for spousal sponsorship and permanent residence with our lawyer. He sent all the papers back in may after i did my medical exam (may 13th) and gave him my receipts to include in the mail (may 20th).
On june 10th we received an email from him forwarding the immigration saying my husband has been approved as my sponsor and now that they are working on my part of the file. 3 weeks ago, i received this mail from my lawyer who got this mail from CIC saying I need to get my medical exam done. I called my lawyer letting him know it has been done, which i think he must have forgot i done this year because he asked me if it was done in 2012 and i told him it was right before we met with him in may and told me it was unusual that they ask for it if it has been done.
So today I called the practician's office they gave me this track number to see what happened to the package with my results and I called the company who told me it arrived in Ottawa on May 30th. I am in the blur since 3 weeks ago since it takes time for the offices (in Paris because I am applying for outside canada) my lawyer said it could take weeks to talk to them to find out what's going on. This has been going really fast which made my husband and me so happy, but since that happened i'm really scared it delays the whole process.
Did anybody have the same problem? and is it possible that they just missed it somehow or i don't know, i need to be reassured?
