Missing documents

Hello, I would like to ask a question, maybe someone had a similar experience:

I have the approval to send the full application to Buffalo within 4 months. What happens if I miss a document in the application, or it is not 100% correct? Do they deny, or send a letter requesting the document/or correction?
Please answer only if you had this experience or you know of somebody else.

You get 1 shot a it, there are no extension (according to CIC) and they will make the decision based on what was submitted. If it is not sufficient, they will probably refuse. Honestly, I think they are trying to get away from interviews.
