Hello there,

I recently submitted my application for citizenship and in the application, I indicated on Online Residence Calculator that I lived in USA for about 130 days for an internship in the first out of the four years.

However I spent a few weekends in Canada during such 130 days which I didn't indicate that on the form, since I consider myself to be a USA resident at that time and I visited Canada for the weekends.

Will this cause any serious problems? I'm worried about when I get asked for RQ in the future, CIC find that I actually came back for a few weekends then accuse me for "misrepresentation"... am I thinking too much?

Thanks a lot!

I don't think it is going to be a problem. You did not intentionally try to mislead. Besides you are not gaining any advantage out of it.

If you get an RQ, add the additional days if you have evidences to support it. You can add the explanation. It is a good thing that you will have more days.
