Missed email from gmail to company mailbox

Not sure if this ever happened to anyone on the forum. Pls advise if you have any comments or any misusage/issues point of view.

Last week I got AOR in my gmail id. Then as a back up I forwared that to my company email id. I generally get all email this way, never missed any. But this AOR email from CIO office got msised. No undeliverable mail from gmail or no blocked note from my company tech team. I do not know what happened or would something happen if someone from my company see it .....

Little tensed on this mystery.

It sounds like the wonder of the internet to me! There is a chance, irrespective of what IT say, that the message was somehow filtered... Why? I don't know, but it's likely the more plausible solution.

You shouldn't worry about this and just enjoy knowing you have got through round one! Congrats.

If you are using outlook, check your junk emails. It happens to me once, i never checked my Junk folder and few days ago i just found some old emails in Junk which were sent from non-company email adresses...

As an IT professional, I would say there is no filter from your personal mailbox to your company mailbox specifically for CIC emails/bodyline unless your company exchange block all your personal email account server. So it you give it another try and it goes through, you are good. No one can read your personal email (company email or personal account) as per privacy law. Cheers!

That's not necessarily true. What most employers say is, "there is no expectation of privacy" when using company property(email, computers, etc). This means the IT department won't go reading your work emails just for fun but if they have a reason to(e.g. investigate wrong doing, audits, etc), then they will. They can't access your personal emails in Hotmail, yahoo, etc.

As an IT professional, I would say there is no filter from your personal mailbox to your company mailbox specifically for CIC emails/bodyline unless your company exchange block all your personal email account server. So it you give it another try and it goes through, you are good. No one can read your personal email (company email or personal account) as per privacy law. Cheers!
