Misconception for ICT, NAFTA

I can see lot of ICT guys wants to claim 50 points for existing work done and they dont accept the fact that they want a "JOB OFFER LETTER" of 1 yr from same employer for which they are working now. They will get 50 bonus points now but once they receive ITA they will be screwed because they had to provide a job offer letter.

They can see the link of official CIC website press release of EE changes http://news.gc.ca/web/article-en.do?nid=1153419

In this link there is a section of JOB OFFERS after 19th nov 2016.

Which states "The candidates must meet certain criteria, such as at least one year of work experience from the same employer who is providing their job offer.

Job offers will only need to be a minimum of one year in duration once they receive permanent residence."

And the last two lines which states

Job offers will only need to be a minimum of one year in duration once they receive permanent residence.

My current ICT WP is until April-2018. I have letter from my company which was used while extending WP.

Is that duation useful and it's completely different letter need to claim those extra points

It does not matter how much you WP is valid. You tell your company that I am looking for PR and I want you to provide me a letter that if I become PR I have job here for atleast 1 yr.

I am not sure if any company can give such letter
It's kind of liability to them to provide such letter in tight job market.

If its not easy than dont claim points. What will you provide if CIC will ask you for a letter? The points are given for JOB OFFER. YOU NEED A OFFER. Bonus points are not given for existing work done. It is for OFFER. Where is the OFFER?

I will provide the letter which are already proven earlier as a valid letter for CIC for all my other friends. Not a special request for PR.

Look bro. The points are here for employment after PR. If you understand LMIA. It is same LMIAs holders are mostly not in Canada they are given points because CIC know once they granted PR they will work for this company. Same goes to other job offers. There should be a offer of a job that you will do after you become PR. Not existing work done if your WP expires when the application is process where is your job? what will you do after PR? So where is the ARRANGED EMPLOYMENT that you have claimed for?

Just to be clear, my offer is of indefinite length. Will that be acceptable for 50 points? I'm on a LMIA work permit.
