Minor's school attendance records

I am applying for my son's citizenship. We have been in Canada for a little more than 3 years.
There is question 7(I) in the application form which asks for attendance record of schools attended during the last five years eligibility period.

While I can get his 3 years attendance records while he was in Canada, it is very difficult to get the records from our home country's schools.

Is this necessary to submit attendance records from another country as well? Can the 3 year Canadian school records be enough?

Is it for identification?
Just get a letter saying the student studies in that school and a printout of the students profile page that has photo(and ask them to stamp in that page)
