Minor Study Permit

Good day,

I am applying for a study permit for my child that will attend a secondary school, the same time I am applying for my closed work permit with LMIA.

On the IMM1294 form in the 'Details of intended study in Canada', the form does not grey out the 'Tuition' & 'Funds available for my stay' columns once I select Secondary School in the level of study. As far as I know I do not need to answer these questions as she will be traveling with me and I have a job offer.

Also the 'Employment' section does not grey out.

Would make sure they still qualify but yes attending the local school and no additional information is fine.

What should I do if the blocks does not grey out and I need to fill something in there. It does not make sense to fill employment details for a minor.
Maybe there is a common issue with the form?

Hello All,
Please i am applying for my minor and i need to know if i should indicate that my husband and i will be traveling to drop him at his school or not. I don't want him to get a refusal

So I shouldn’t indicate on the form that we are traveling with my minor to drop at his school even though we already have a visa. If I don’t then I need to submit an authorization form that we allowing him to travel alone

Then include that you will be accompanying him then.
