There is minor mistake in surname of my child. (spelling mistake) I have sent it back for correction. Anybody with same problem. How long they take to return the corrected one.

Dear Sadu,

Even I have sent back the COPR to CHC but I am not sure about the time taken. I have come to know that all the changes will be made at Ottawa office and normally it should be completed within 6 months.

The problem is if they go at their normal pace, my medicals will expire by that time.......

Its a big PANGA bhai !

My God
you scared me. 6 months. My medicals expire in a month. What if they dont return it back within a month.

Hi Guys,
We are having same problem as well, and not received corrected visa yet. The problem is visa has been expired and we are unaware about any thing what to do next, no guidance, no notice. Huge mental pressure.
Any body knows about it? What is next step? Whether we need to submit another medical report or what?

Undoubtedly it is a time of huge mental pressure. You have many options to know about it. First you have to ensure either these documents have been delivered to CHC. You would better to write email or send fax mentioning your visa expiry period.

In my case , I received corrected Visas and COPRs all of us within 3 months , however, correction was made within 45 days after submission of PPTs and COPRs for correction.

Hopefully , you may receive corrected COPRs and Visas soonest of onward time.

regards

Thank You everyone for your kind advice.
Mine case seems bit different. My family name and my child's family name on passports are different. When CHC-Delhi issued visa they wrote family name similar to my passport family name not as my child's passport family name. Therefore, there is mistake on my children's passport bio-page and visa page. Then after we sent it for correction on March 18 as per the CHC-Delhi guidance, Unfortunately which I haven't received yet. We communicate via case specific inquiry, fax, and email but no response in this matter. More important visa has expired on May 13, so we are not having any communication from there side, hence what to do next? Has any one have/facing similar problem? please advice us-what to do next in this case?
Thank You

When i went to new delhi office, they told that they will take their own time to open the packet which is sent by post. In case of visa expiry u should go directly and get it corrected. But now u have to wait for their response. but hopefully ur remedicals will be waived because it is not ur mistake.
