Need to creat a strong SOP as you have ties to Canada. Plus you have to satisfy VO quiet well that you will return back to your hometown

He has very strong ties to Canada which is a negative. Unless the family is very wealthy it would be best to come to Canada for a postgrad degree or at least a post secondary degree. Spending money to attend a public high school isn’t a very good use of funds. The money could go towards a much better private education in India.

Switch to a public college. Private colleges have a very bad reputation in Canada and there's a higher chance the study permit will be refused.

Agree that attending a private college is not worth the money. Does the private college qualify for PGWP? Not all of the, do even if they are an approved DLI. He will have a much better chance of being approved if he attends a reputable higher ranking college or university.
