We landed on 7 Sep 2010 and returned to USA on 8 Sep 2010 by Road.
Returned back on 15 Oct 2011 and have been living in Canada since then...but had couple of trip to U.S.A and ASIA any between 5 days - 3months.

Question: Should declare all the trips/absence (or) just the 8-Sep 2010 till 15 Oct 2011 absence because its more than 6months

Appreciate your reply.

Hi

If you had made trips after 15th Oct 2011, you should declare them also. Any trip (even for a Day) has to be declared

But the as per the instruction "You must let us know if the child left Canada for six months or longer since becoming a permanent resident. " meaning I only have to declare any absence which is greater than 6 month. Unless I'm reading / understanding this incorrectly.

You are right. It is OK since Children are NOT subjected to Residence Calculation
But it is preferable to list all absences to reconcile easily with the Passport stamps (A couple of additional entries now will help a lot later)

Understand, but I don't want to give out information which is not requested in the application. Will I be fine if I just give the travel trip that is greater than 6months?
