Minimum wage by title?

Hi

I know there are minimum wages in general regulated by provinces. Are there minimum wages or something like that by job title? Say, "marketing director". I did quick search on JobsBC and it gives median average $70K-106K. But this is just an indication of what to expect. It can be lower or higher. But I think it should not be significantly lower (or higher) than the range. Otherwise the title should be changed to marketing manager, for example.

I thought I read it somewhere. Can anyone advise me on that?

Don't go for the title, take a look at the job description:

For example a bus driver in India is called a "Transportation Specialist" in Canada
A watchman or caretaker of a building is known as a "Facilities Manager" in Canada
A clerk is known as an "Administrative Assistant" in Canada

So I strongly suggest you look into the job description

Job description did not really match to the title. It can be, at best, marketing manager position, and it says $12/hour + commission after 3 months of probation period, and asking to give them salary expectation! It will be far below the "marketing director" level of salary (true, I don't know how much are commission but for the first 3 months would be entry position salary ... It rips off the immigrants and temporary foreign workers..
