minimum wage and LMIA applications

I have an employer who's willing to apply for an LMIA and hire me as a TFW , however I have heard that Service Canada normally turn down LMIA applications if the wage is lower than or the same as the median wage. The job is in BC (median wage $10.25)and the wage the employer is offering me is $11 per hour. I would like to know if the LMIA application would have some problems with Service Canada considering the fact that it is just a few cents above BC's minimum wage.

Normally it would be fine if you are above median wage.

The problem also starts if you are working in a profession that is generally better paid in Canada but you are only getting paid min wage.
