Hello,

Could you please share the minimum points on which someone has got invite from Provincial nomination ?

I have around 15 years experience with 10 years experience in US in IT as Business Analyst/Systems analyst
Few more queries :

- Only total CRS points is the criteria for Provincial or they look at overall application - like age, education (bachelor's or Master's), total work experience, companies worked for if reputed, spouse accompanying or not etc, previous international travel history (travelled to Canada earlier) etc ?

Thanks in advance,

Which province are you planning to apply to. Requirements could differ from province to province.
Go to the PNP website of your intended destination, read through available information and you'll have your answer.

Thanks.

I have not decided the Province yet. I am estimating overall low CRS points around 350-360 so I have heard (note sure) that some Province still nominate candidates with low points if overall application is strong. Thats why I posted query here. Is there any chance in any province ? accordingly I will see if worth applying or not

If your occupation is in demand in particular province you have a chance. Saskatchewan doesn't have a minimum CRS to apply for their nomination. In Ontario there is 400 points threshold but some people with certain occasions were invited with less than that.

Thanks Bobbieleigh ! Actually my listening section in IELTS didn't go well (results awaited) so due to this I am estimating low CRS points (350-360) as with high IELTS score total CRS points jump by 40-50 points

I have total 15 years experience with 12 years IT experience in Business Analyst/System analyst. Could anyone please share if they know anybody with similar experience and points - which Province I could focus on to apply ?

The easiest way is to go to every provinces website and check their occasions in demand and nomination requirements and you will know if you have a chance.

Also anyone please suggest if hiring any attorney and paying fees is really worth to start the application process ? I mean would there be any chances we might miss any rule/law while doing the application on our own ?

whether you are going to hire a consultant or not, the best you can do is gather all the information you can get on your own. if you want to get a good picture of the possibilities you have to do a lot of reading and searching.

Not required unless you have complications like criminal record, deportation etc
