Hi. Just wanted to ask about AAIP minimum education requirement for Hospitality Stream.
Suppose one finished high school in their country of origin, but gets an ECA result of Grade 11 by WES, would this qualify for AAIP?
For the same education, one got an IQAS assessment of Certificate of high school Achievement. Will this suffice for AAIP?
The reason I'm asking is that AAIP requires "minimum of high school education equivalent to Canadian standards".
I have read in some forums/fora that despite the results above, one is "actually eligible" for AAIP as the ECA is showing Canadian equivalency and can be submitted to show requirement as being met.
Yet, according to Albertan education, Certificate of High School Achievement is not equivalent to High school Diploma, as the former is only Grade 10 equivalent while the latter is Grade 12.
It begs the question then of will an ECA assessment of Certificate of high school Achievement by IQAS and/or Grade 11 by WES be eligible for Alberta PNP as AAIP requires "completion of Canadian high school", and not specifically High School Diploma. Thanks!
