Military service detail for PR application

Applied march 2021
Process started at nov 2021
On jan 2022 they asked more details for my MANDATORY military service that i was in about 20 years ago!
Sent the detail same they, the profile stocked on your action required yet,
ANYONE IN SAME BOAT? OR HAVE ANY EXPERIENCE HOW LONG IT TAKES AFTER THEY ASKING FOR MORE INFO?
many friends that applied in same time got their pr card and its so frustrating to wait for this crazy procedure.

You may have worked in a particular unit that is more of interest or it is a combination of your military service and your previous profession that raised concerns. Fairly normal for people to run into requests related to their military service even if they want to visit.

I've understand that they have to do the background checks and I'm ok with that, the bad part is that I've send the documents about 2 month ago but its not updated on the portal that they received and still shows your action is required! Ircc is the most unorganized organization in canada, never seen anything like this on irb, cra, services canada and ...

There are huge backlogs due to Covid plus resources being diverted to Afghanistan and Ukraine.
