hi I applied for my husband in July and they received the application on August 16 2018, we received our
1st AOR on October 23 2018
Pcc for my husband on October 24
RPRF fee on October 29
Medical request on October 30
Sponsor approval on November 5

So now my question is when we applied for my husband it was Outland he isn’t in Canada but I am but he had been rejected a few times before when he applied for his student permit in 2012 and in The background check application it asks if he had applied to come to Canada and if it were rejected and we ticked the no box. We have a rep on our application and we spoke to her and she said she will apply for an amendment tonight but we just wanted to know if that would create an isssue in our case?
That's a pretty big issue. Did your tell your rep while she was drafting your application that he had been rejected and you still ticked no anyways?

That's enough misrepresentation to refuse your application and receive a ban on applying. I hope your representative is able to submit that amendment quickly and that CIC will accept it.

I suggest that on top of your rep submitting something, your husband should submit a Webform ASAP. As said above, this is very serious and can lead to refusal and a ban.
