I have done some microsoft certifications, and I am planning to include them in my personal history as an educational activity.

1) Can i put "vocational/trades" as the field of study?
2) What would the level of education be? These were short term courses of about a month, and then I attempted the microsoft exams. But in the options, the minimum duration they have given for courses in a trade school is one year, and lower than that it's high school graduation.

Hey,

Certificates not issued by educational institutions does not count. it is not advised to put in vocational/trades, as those have to be issued by vocational/trade schools. You are not going to get points for Microsoft certifications, period. it is better not to declare it.

Hi,

Thank you for replying. Yes, I realise that I cannot claim points for the same, but if i dont mention about the courses, wouldn't it be hiding of information? Also, what field of study do such specialisation certifications fall under?

Sorry for reviving an old thread. I just wanna ask whether those courses were helpful. I'm thinking of changing a job, and I thought that before I start looking for one, it would be helpful to attend some training programs and courses.
