Mexico VO Query

Hello,

I have found out that my residency application is being processed at Mexico VO. Is someone else experiencing delays with this VO?

Yes, i applied in september 2019. More than uear without news from them.

That's the current situation at Mexico visa office : "Mexico is still in a high level of health alert because of the coronavirus pandemic. Accordingly, the Immigration section of the Canadian Embassy in Mexico City is currently working with essential staff only and providing essential urgent services through teleworking. This limits our ability to process permanent residence applications. We will be in contact with you with further instructions when we are able to do so."

Have applied for SOWP on May 26, 2020. Over a year and no response. Not even medical exam request. When contacting via webform, got a reply:

"Your application don’t meet the criteria for priority processing mentioned above. As such, due to these priorities, your application will be processed as soon as feasible".

Does this mean the application is just gathering dust indefinatrely? Would be good to know if it is at least moving closer in queue...

My AOR is May 26, 2020, currently residing in Panama, i have all the same information in each category as when I applied, never received any update in my app. What about you?

Are you applying under FSW? If so, you can apply to get the GCMS notes and you will find more information about your case
