MEXICO city embassy - 13 months?

Hi!
I'm new here and I've been trying to find an answer to my question, but
I'm a little confused as how to find specific information on the forum
Here's my question:
Anybody sponsored their Mexican spouse and got the visa lately?
How long did the embassy in Mexico city take to make a decision?
I know the CIC site says 13 months , but I'd like to hear about people who've
been through the process not so long ago to see the 'average' waiting time now.

I know the site says 13 months but from what I have seen here on this forum it usually takes 6-9 months.

My sponsorship has been approved at the end of January and now I am still waiting to hear from Mexico city.

You should join us in the Mexico thread, we are all in pretty similar situations there and it helps pass the time while you wait for your visa.

Does that include step 1?
