Sorry if this has already been asked but I have a question regarding police certificates. If I am a Mexican living in Canada the government website says to do the following: If you live outside of Mexico. In no point do they ask for a "Cartilla Militar". Nevertheless, in the Mexican goverment website it says you need to provide it if you are a male. What has been the case for other Mexican males without a "Cartilla Militar"?

Si soy Mexicano viviendo en Canada la pagina dice que haga lo siguiente: If you live outside of Mexico. En ningún punto piden por una Cartilla Militar. No obstante, en la pagina de gobierno dice que la tienes que entregar si eres hombre. Cual ha sido su experience sin tener cartilla militar?
