Hello! I am Canadian and My husband is Mexican and we have a 7 month old Canadian daughter. Is it a better idea to try to get him into Canada as a visitor and then star paperwork from here? Would it be a more probable "no" to a visitors visa application if he is married to a Canadian?
Any advice? And if we do start the Outland resident application, can he still apply as a visitor for Christmas visit etc?
Thank you for any replies!

I was in your situation about about 18months ago and if he can get the visa to come then you can do it bere but you are going to have to support him financially. It is just as fast to apply outland if your husband is in Canada or Mexico. If you get your husband into Canada you can apply Inland and the difference is that your husband can get a work permit after about 6 to 8 months. But he can't leave the country until after the process is completed.

Your looking at about 10 months from start to finish outland, inland I am not sure.

I would just get the application in.
