I'm Mexican, and my husband is Canadian (born in Canada), our baby's coming, but he/she will be born in Mexico. My husband wants the baby to have the citizenship. In Mexico, we use both last names (father and mother) in the birth certificate, it is always the father's last name first, for example Emma (name) Hough (father's last name) Ramirez (mother's last name). Is it true that here in Mexico i have to register the baby in the Canadian way (name and father's last name ONLY!!!) in order for my baby to get the Canadian citizenship because of her/his father???? PLS HELP MEE!!!
