Good Day Guys

I am working in Merchant Navy with my Noc code being 7242 ( Ships electrician ). MY job profile is like working for 3 months and stay home for 3 months . Now i have spoken to some consultants and they say my work experience is not continuous but given my job profile we always work on/off and cannot work for years at stretch in sea. Here are the few doubts am having .

1 ) Will my work experience be counted as full time ?
2 ) I have worked for a Canadian company in the past for 3 years but in another country , will it count as Canadian work experience if i get my job duties from them on their letterhead.

I'm not sure about the answer to your first question.

The answer to your second question is no. To count as Canadian work experience, you must have physically worked in Canada.

It would be in your best interest to consult with an Immigration lawyer on the same. That way you are sure on what course of action to take. Good luck.

Hi

For for your first question it depends on your contract. If for every job you got separate contract than it will not count as continuous work experience. If you have continuous work contract than this is just your work schedule and its a continuous job.
