Meng or msc in civil engineering

I have completed my B.E. In civil engineering from Gujarat, India and i am planning to do masters in construction management in canada. I want to do job on construction sites after masters. So which degree is best for me? Meng or Msc?

Job wise. .both are ok but for funding you will have to target M.Sc.

MEng is more geared towards professional work after graduation, while an MSc is more research oriented. In recent times however, many countries and many universities are merging both the degrees together and keeping MEng.

If a person does MEng, they can take the route to become a chartered engineer. At least that is the norm. However, you are also ok do a PhD after your MEng, if your degree has enough research components in it.

From the above, you can choose which degree is more suited to you.
