Meeting at Canadian border when sponsor already here

Hi guys - my SO is landing on Wednesday! She had her papers and visa in order and will be landing and requesting her PR card when she arrives.

I am in Toronto and wont be coming through the airport with her when she lands. Is that going to be a problem? And is there some way I can show up at the airport and she can call me over if they are giving her a hard time/ want to see me?

I know it would be ideal if I was there with her on the flight but I had to go back to Canada ahead of her for a job.

You don't have to be with her at the airport when she lands. Many (most?) land without their sponsoring spouse.

You will have to wait outside of the secure area for her to come through after she goes through the landing process and picks up her luggage. So no - she cannot call you over if she wants to see you / they are giving her a hard time (there should be no reason why they would giver her a hard time).
