my wife and I applied (she's the principal applicant) and we received the letter that says:
"It has been determined that you meet the eligibility requirements to apply for permanent residence status in this class. A final decision will not be made until all remaining requirements have been met. If applicable, all of your family members, both in Canada and abroad, must pass background checks even if they are not applying to join you in Canada at this time."
We already sent all the documentation including Brazilian police criminal records, FBI criminal records, local Canadian police criminal records, RCMP fingerprints and everything else. We have NO criminal records anywhere!!
What should I expect from now on??
Do I need to have a certain amount of $$ in a banking account??
Since we received this letter, does that mean we're "in"?
Any help is highly appreciated.
Thank you!
