Medicals reached Ottawa!

Hello seniors,

How long would it take for the Ottawa processing centre to process the medical results? In other words, my medical results reached Ottawa this afternoon. When can I expect "Medical Results have been received" line to be added ?

My case showed that after my PCC was also sent. Meds reached in Sep 2011, PCC was sent in Nov'2011. The status showed Medicals received after all the documentation(MEDS + PCC + Bankstatement + RPRF) requested were sent.

My medicals have reached ottawa too . But I do not know where to check the case status.

What does Medicals have bee received, mean? Does it mean Clearance or Completed? I have received a communication from visa officer saying to send passport with 4 photos for visa issuance no later than May 31, 2012 and how long is the visa valid before arrival? Thanks

Usually 3-4 months

When I did my Medicals on march 8,2012 it took the first week of May to get my passport request for visa issuance, I hope this help...

Congrats!
once u receive req for pps, it means meds r clear.ur visa will b valid till date of meds or validity of ur pps, whichever is the earliest.consider validity of pp of every family mem of urs.

To check ecas status, go to chc web site click application status and proceed.u need to fill ur application category, file no,dob,family name, country etc and u get overall status for eg in process,click on it.u get details.
