Medicals Question.

Hey guys,

I am a may applicant. I got my aor on sept 6 but medicals have not arrived. I went to the dr today because i was feeling anxiuos and depressed at work and my doctor reccomended to do a rivotril 0.5 mg treatment and a cipralex 10 mg treatment for anxiety/depression. Does that affect my medicals at all or do I have to disclse that information?

Also, my family dr said it will be good if i took some time off work due to this issue, but i dont kmow if going into short term disabilty will affect my pr application?

On your question about getting those meds. Im assuming you went to a walk-in or something. The Immigration medicals are done at specific Doctor's clinic so really they wont know anything about your prior visit. Of course they may ask if you are on any medications or having any health issues. But by then you should be relaxed for getting the MR.

Maybe you should stick around the forum here and see other people's timelines. You will see that many who have rec'd their AOR still havent had their MR yet. Its only been about 2 months since your AOR, some people have to wait 3+ months before they got their AOR.

I think you should avoid taking medications for depression etc., not for MR but for your own good if really the underlying reason is delay in MR. You shouldnt worry too much. I received my MR after more than 4 months since I received my AOR. So many other applicants in March, and April are still awaiting their MR ... some even AOR. So chill
