Hello everyone.
I sent in a Statutory Declaration to Immigration for my 4 children under the age of 22.
Younger 2- I stated their father has full decision making rights and will not allow the to have a physical.
Older 2- I did not have contact info for them.
They are still asking for the medicals again but have given me an extension so I think I will do this.
Send in an updated Statutory Declaration (notarized my by atty here in Canada)
Updates: My ex-husband has the MRSA staph infection and is in a rehab facility in xxxx and the children (late teens) are living with their grandparents. I sent him an email but he has not responded. I also spoke with him on the phone on Dec 20 and he said he would not allow them to have the medical exam.
Older children: My son **** age 21 is now in a common law relationship. I spoke to him via Snapchat call(I will give dates) and has a baby due in June. Therefore he would be exempt from a dependent status.
My son **** , age 20 also I have spoken via Snapchat call. He is in a common law relationship with a two month old baby. Therefore, he is also exempt from dependent status.
What do you all think about this as the next step? The MP's office suggested getting each child to get a letter signed saying they didn't want to be examined but this will cause problems and they won't understand what I want them to do. Is trying this updated Stat Dec a good next step? Thoughts?
Thank you for your time.
